Scolari looks to secure the seat

Portugal coach Luiz Felipe Scolari knows a victory over the Czech Republic will all but book his side's place in the knockout stages of Euro 2008.

Scolari, whose side beat Turkey in their first Group A match, said: "We'll be confident but not too confident.

"Let's see if we can keep playing this beautiful football as that way we will go through to the second round.

"We are halfway to qualifying. If we get six points we should qualify so we have some breathing space."

The Czech Republic also won their opening game of the tournament, beating hosts Switzerland, and Portugal midfielder Deco feels they will be dangerous opponents.

"We do not risk falling into the trap of being too complacent," said Deco. "We are not underestimating the Czech Republic, quite the contrary, we have a lot of respect for them. It will be a bit more difficult than against Turkey.

"The fact the Czechs had problems against the Swiss means nothing."
