Goalkeeper Vladimir Gabulov is set to leave FC Amkar Perm for FC Dinamo Moskva following UEFA EURO 2008™ after asking the club to terminate his loan deal.
Contract stipulation
The 24-year-old, who previously played for Dinamo in 2001, is on loan at Amkar from FC Kuban Krasnodar but has asked to be released from that deal under the terms of a clause in his contract. Amkar president Valeri Chuprakov said: "Gabulov asked me to terminate his loan agreement. When he signed, we agreed a clause in the event that Vladimir gets an offer from one of the top Russian clubs which also sees us get some compensation."
Predicted deal
Dinamo managing director Dmitri Ivanov added: "We hope that after Russia's UEFA EURO 2008™ campaign Gabulov will join us. At this moment we are waiting for him to terminate his agreement with Amkar. We foresee him signing a three-and-a-half-year contract." Capped five times for Russia, Gabulov was born in North Ossetia, and after his season at Dynamo, played for FC Alania Vladikavkaz and PFC CSKA Moskva before joining Kuban in 2007. He joined Amkar following Kuban's relegation last season.
