Ballack back for depleted Germany

Ballack back for depleted Germany

Germany will be depleted to the tune of six players for Tuesday's UEFA EURO 2008™ warm-up friendly against Belarus in Kaiserslautern but Michael Ballack is not among the absentees.
Missing six
The Chelsea FC midfielder has joined the squad after being given time off in London following the UEFA Champions League final, and is in contention to play in Germany's penultimate friendly before they travel to Austria. On the sidelines, by contrast, are the injured René Adler (bruised pelvis) and Mario Gómez (calf problem), ill duo Tim Borowski and Arne Friedrich plus the rested Kevin Kuranyi and Simon Rolfes. Germany complete their warm-up programme on Saturday against Serbia in Gelsenkirchen. They open their UEFA EURO 2008™ Group B bid against Poland in Klagenfurt on 8 June before facing Croatia there four days later. They then visit Vienna to take on co-hosts Austria on 16 June.
