Vukojević destined for Dynamo

Croatia midfielder Ognjen Vukojević took time out from pre-UEFA EURO 2008™ training to seal a reported €8m move from NK Dinamo Zagreb to FC Dynamo Kyiv.
Squad place
The 24-year-old has signed a five-year contract with Ukrainian Premier League runners-up Dynamo, who will start their 2008/09 UEFA Champions League campaign in the second qualifying round. Reports have suggested that an €8m fee has been paid for the former NK Slaven Koprivnica and K. Lierse SK player, who is battling for a place in Croatia's 23-man finals squad.

Winning intentions
"I am delighted to have joined such a great club as Dynamo," said Vukojević, who has scored once in 12 internationals for Croatia. "I am here to win a lot of trophies and to play in the Champions League. Over the last three years in Zagreb I won a lot of titles and now I want to do the same in Kiev." Croatia meet Austria in their opening Group E game on 8 June.

Nigerian forward
Dynamo have also recruited 24-year-old Nigerian striker Emmanuel Okoduwa on a four-year deal after buying out the remainder of his contract at Belgian side KFC Germinal Beerschot Antwerpen. The tall forward started his career in Ukraine with FC Vorskla Poltava, before joining FC Arsenal Kyiv, FC Shakhtar Donetsk, FC Metalurh Donetsk and, briefly, Russia's FC Kuban Krasnodar.
